{Live Admin Q&A: 6-7PM CST} Hello to all our wonderful fans. My name is Destiny, I’m from Arizona and I joined TMM in March. I have four children whose ages are 12, 8, 4, and almost 9 months. I knew right from the beginning that I wanted to breastfeed my kids once I become pregnant with our first. With each child I dealt with a low supply in the early weeks and didn’t have support around me so it was often frustrating for me, still I was determined to make this work. It wasn’t until after I had our second child that I found out I have PCOS (showed symptoms long before) and didn’t know I had IGT until our fourth child. Despite those challenges I’ve been able to EBF and I feel very blessed considering many ladies with IGT are not able to do so. Much to my disappointment I only breastfed my first until he was 6 months old. I returned to work full-time and pumped but didn’t respond well to the pump and because of the lack of knowledge I had, I wasn’t aware there were other things I could try. My second was breastfed until 2, my third until almost three, and I’m currently nursing my 9 month old. In our house we let them self-wean so we’ll see how long he goes for. I’ve always been passionate about breastfeeding and love to help those that want/need help. I’m also passionate about living a healthy, natural life, from the food we consume to the products in our home. I will try to answer any questions you might have but would love to hear about you too!
