Long Bacardi advert - Bang Bang !!!! Katrina Kaif is an ageless beauty. She is Gods own creation whose impeccable beauty enlivens the viewer. I am willing to dedicate my franchise to even someone like Akhilesh Yadav if he re-writes history books, where Taj Mahal it’s stated was constructed as an obeisance to Katrinas celestial beauty. The lady is not only ethereal but is also a very accomplished actress. Indians can NOT credit any individual with TWO (or more) traits both of which define her together. In Bollywood, especially, an ugly looker (Raani, Tabu etc) will be propagandised as an adept actress, for we have to give ourselves a reason for that actress being there in the first place, while someone as divine as Katrina would be discredited for her histrionics, irrespective of her acumen. Katrina - The Goddess is the ONLY reason I could sit through this never-ending Bacardi advertisement. Siddharth Anand, it seems, started working on the script watching James Bond movies but reverted to his rom-com days within a few seconds, almost compulsively. The first scene, where this dreaded Sultan-of-terrors commandos break into the MI6 office was reason enough for me to be in splits. The invaders in their blue plumber dresses and yellow mining-helmets looked more of Harpic Workers than Al-Qaida, who had been miniaturised and were swung to the inside walls of a pot to attack deadly germs. Their commander in chief, Javed Jaffery, looked like a band master who had made a kill in an unexpectedly profitable shaadi-season. He is dressed in this cheap Lahore-Band livery as he goes around killing people - ludicrous. About Jimmy Shergill - I wonder when a Hindu colonel of the Indian army has been allowed to grow a beard - a stubble actually? The script has been penned by an out of job comic strip-writer, whose best work before this is लोट-पोट. Hrithik Roshan finally turns narcissist completely. He is oblivious to Katrinas presence in the movie, which is why there is NO chemistry between the two. Siddharth Anand was ill-advised in casting Hrithik in a movie which is scriptless and senseless - the spunk, the attitude and the vitality needed to pull off such a role have been patented by Salman Khan. No other actor in India can look better than Salman in this role. Period. This movie is an incongruous blend of a Red, a James Bond, a Salaam Namaste and 50 other movies. Watch it only to genuflect before the Supreme Being - Katrina Kaif. Rating - 1.5/5 Rating considering Katrinas presence - 3.5/5
