Looking at the concept- Brillance and Wisdom. Can it be said that the possession of brillancy means wisdom? Can someone who is brillant be regarded as having wisdom? Or is it that Nigeria has completely eliminated or divorce Theory from Practical? Looking at the rate at which Nigerian student comes out with Distinctions from Nigerian universities but then lacks the wisdom to unravel practical problems. For instance a sitting president with a Phd in whatever finding it difficult in knowing how to apply wisdom to practical problems of the citizen. A lot of Professors in Ekiti but still could not find wisdom what is needed for the future of their children. A brillant Economic Minister who cannot distinguish between bogus and robust economy on paper and the standard of living of the citizens of a so called robust economy. Maybe too much emphasis is laid on theory than practical in our curriculum, but then Minister went to Havard Or maybe they have wisdom to decipher, then it is wickedness.
