Love is a word thats thrown around a lot. But true love isnt casual—its committed. Christ showed us perfect love when He willingly sacrificed His life for ours on the cross. As followers of Christ, were called to lay our lives down for others as well. How can we do that? The first step to loving someone is to try and understand them. Learn about their situation by asking, How long have you been like this? Where does it hurt? What gives you comfort? Then you can figure out how to best serve them. But before we can give love to others, we need to receive it from God. Commit yourself to diligently seeking Him, and you will find that love flows out of you just as easy as it flows in.
