This is the case of the pop rock band MAGIC!, bit.ly/1qVSSjv from Canada but began to succeed in Australia. The band is formed by GRAMMY award winning producer, singer and songwriter Nasri Atweh with Mark Pelli (guitar), Alex Tanas (drums) and Ben Spivak (bass). In 2013, they signed a record deal with Sony Music Entertainment and began work on their debut album entitled “Don’t Kill the Magic“, which was released on digital retailers on June 30, 2014. Their first single is called “Rude” and it’s was first a radio sensation in Australia and later in the rest of the world, an outbreak of fresh air in the music scene with a simple pop song with reggae influences. “Rude” is all you can ask for a sunny summer day. Freshness and a sound heavily influenced by the style of No Doubt in the nineties. The single was released on iTunes (Australia) on October 11, 2013 and the music video was premiered early-December. The song impacted the States in March 2014. Listen up! The reggae is back! The smash single gets its official remix made by German producer Zedd. The new re-worked version was exclusively premiered on Zedd’s deejay set on Lollapalooza music festival on August 1st. The remix was premiered in full on Soundcloud on August 28th, and was released on iTunes on September 2nd.
