MATCH LAKE NEWS! We have had an interesting bit of news today from the Environment Agency. We have finally been given permission to stock Perch into our Match Lake. As you may be aware all fisherys are meant to have permission from the EA for all fish stockings, although many ignore this. As a reputable supplier of thousands of trout to fisheries all around the south west we cannot take the risk of the illegal route and so we have worked hard to get legitimate permission. We hope that IF we go ahead with introducing Perch this will please the majority of anglers that fish this lake. Our permission is strictly ONLY for the Match Lake as it is well away from the stream. We feel this will be a positive move in our plan to make this lake multi species as well as improving the quality of the silver fish sport - and giving some entirely new winter fun. We would be pleased to hear your opinions before we make our decision.
