MCE department of IUT is hosting the 6th BSME International conference on Thermal Engineering [bsmeicte2014.iutoic-dhaka.edu/]. This conference is organized by Bangladesh Society of Mechanical Engineers and co-organized by Islamic University of Technology, Montana State University (USA), Institute of Ocean Energy of Saga University (Japan), The Korean Society of Visualization (Republic of Korea) and University of Malaya (Malaysia). The conference will provide a forum for presenting the current research and creative activities in Thermal Engineering. This year around 70 researchers and academicians from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, Finland, Korea, Malaysia, India and Iran are going to participate in this conference along with 100 research academics from Bangladesh. The Inaugural Ceremony will be held at IUT Auditorium on 19th December at 9:00 am. H.E. Prof. Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury, Chairman (State Minister), University Grants Commission of Bangladesh has kindly consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. M. H.
