MINOR TO MODERATE FLOOD WARNING FOR THE PATERSON AND WILLIAMS RIVERS Issued at 6:44 am EDT on Monday 18 November 2013 Flood Warning Number: 1 An average of 92 millimetres of rain has fallen during the past 21 hours to 6 am this morning. Heaviest falls have occurred in the lower parts of the catchments near Gresford and Clarencetown. Further heavy rain is forecast for today. Rain is expected to ease later this evening. At this stage it is not possible to predict the flood peak because of uncertainty over how much more rain will fall. Predicted River Heights/Flows: Gostwyck Br. (Paterson River) - with forecast rain reach minor flood level (9.1 metres) around 3pm this afternoon - further rises possible with heavier rain Dungog (Williams River) - with forecast rain reach minor flood level (4.9 metres) around 5pm this afternoon - further rises possible with heavier rain Mill Dam Falls (Williams River) - exceed minor flood level (6.1 metres) around 9 am this morning - with forecast rain reach 8 metres areound 3pm with afternoon with moderate flooding - further rises possible with heavier rain FloodSafe advice is available at ses.nsw.gov.au For emergency assistance call the SES on telephone number 132 500.
