MONDAYS MINDSET PROVOKER Hypnotherapists - Is it Time You Became More Camp? Does showmanship make sessions more effective? Does it matter? What are the consequences of showmanship? AND - Is it good for business? Personally I am a big advocate of what I will refer to as contained showmanship. This doesnt mean going over the top BUT does mean delivering what a client may expect from a Clinical Hypnotist. What does showmanship mean? I think it is all about: 1. Using creative inductions 2. Being an animated hypnotherapist 3. Ensuring hypnosis sessions are engaging, avoiding too much walking in the meadows style relaxation therapy. Showmanship can add to driving the clients result. BUT it can be an amazing tool to trigger word of mouth advertising.
