My people As 2015 just dey approach, many high-flying Deltans don dey enthusiastically dey show intense interest to contest for Delta state governorship election. Some political leaders and Aspirants within the state don dey pay unscheduled political visits to effect their political agenda for 2015. Delta state get 25 local governments with just three ethnic geo- political zones, Delta north, Delta central and Delta south. Delta State nor dey different from Plateau state wey get same three senatorial districts but d latter get elected three of e senatorial districts for their governorship of their state, while the former still dey operate within just two district leadership only,which is Delta State wen we dey so. I nor mean say na only PDP must rule d State oh,but atleast make i judge wit d incumbent. Over the years, Delta politics dey directly controlled by highly place cabals wey dey the state without any form of political intimidation or pressure. The resultant effect be say Delta state resources don dey politically mismanage by imposed and conscripted leaders wey never sail thru the choice of Deltans but selected cabals of the state. Since the enthronement of democracy 1999 wen Delta central and Delta south occupied the position of the governorship thru Chief James Ibori and Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan till date. Na only few Deltans nai dey feel the present leadership of the state wey the ruling political party (PDP) dey,dem decide to impose leaders for we d people. Apart from the strong opposition party for the state,base on Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), the state political leadership,na into two dem divide am,which is PDP1 and PDP2. Though PDP1 dey formidable and stronger pass PDP2 base on say the latter na d offspring of DPP and nothing else. Some of the real PDP abandoned members don dey join the novel of APC,most especially for Sapele,Udu,Ethiope West and East and Uvwie, than for dem to remain extraneous for the state politics or otherwise. To some extent ehn, Dr Uduaghan wey be the governor of Delta state since 2007 till date,despite say spite of the re-run hiccups for 2011 against Chief Great Ogboru d guy still pull stunts for some sectors like Transportation finish lolx. As far say na single party nai dey control the state, the power to vote lies on the privileged cabals hands and deir agents. The problem wen we get be say some political leaders within the state don succumb to media to express deir political grievances against each other without the foundational strategy to capture the state,Hissss. Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan after e recently appoint new Delta state electoral officers,before den wen we dey wait for INEC to Oct 10th Delta state local government election wey dem don dey defer many times,as dem appoint impromptu caretaker committees to run d Local Government seat from within only PDP for almost two years and half without say dem bold conduct any hitch free and fair election for the state. The delay to conduct free and fair local government election don give room for intellectual corruption for the state. The long list of aspirants wey dey hussle for Delta 2015 indicate to me say the land get many milk and honey y some pipo na mere political jokers and others dey serious-minded among dem wey wan change Delta state leadership for good. Some of these self-styled aspirants nor get any impact for deir immediate environment positively rather dem wan go for such exalted position for the state, instead of dem to go for ordinary councillorship position. Delta state dey bless with human and capital resources, yet 45 percent of Deltans dey live in object poverty, despite the various poverty alleviation programmes wen dem dey pack deir pipo put,few to d real poor within our Delta State. Delta state population dey estimated over 3million people while infrastructural developments,we dey see am for some parts of the state. Sapele, mosogar,Isoko and Anioma people don dey totally marginalized and limited to leadership positions for the state. Though the Anioma people over the years nai occupy the speakership of the Delta State House of Assembly, while Isoko wen get one of the largest clan for Delta State still get only two local governments and only manage occupy a speakership position once by Late Igbrude but dem later impeach am from office. Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan to some large extent don appoint some few Isoko people for key positions to commiserate the sufferings and agitation of Isoko nation over the years. Come to think of those veritable and reliable people intended to go for Government House Asaba come 2015, some of these so-called aspirants don take an unconvince method to introduce kangaroo empowerment programmes to win the hearts of the innocent electorates,dis na big lie becos i go point all unu out. Some of these political contestants nor get any credibility to contest for 2015 but decide to make the state ungovernable and intractable, if the need arises. Some of these political aspirants must be thoroughly scrutinized and examined before we accept them to come out for 2015. Barrister Festus Keyamo na one of the fiery and successful young lawyers for Nigeria wit credentials wen dey intimidate and e dey competent enough to be voted and qualified for the governorship position and e still dey his 40s. Him na the pioneer of the Delta Forces United (DFU) wen don dey make great impact for Delta state with massive supporters from the three senatorial districts. He dey prepared to change the leadership of Delta come 2015 if we allow am. Barrister Festus Keyamo nor believe or belong to any cabal wey go dictate the political structure for the state to am. If elections are dey properly conducted as free and fair, Festus Keyamo might dey unbeatable but some schools of thought don talk am say Festus Keyamo suppose go for Delta State House of Assembly first before governorship position but Festus see am as human imagination. Some assume say good human right activists nor dey make great leaders to me na political error or assumption. Because Comrade Adams Oshiomhole never occupy any political position but from labour activist,e contest for Edo state governorship position for 2011 and win, even wen the PDP for the state steal him mandate but he cum reclaim am, thru the Supreme Court verdict. Again Chief Edwin Clark wen be one of Delta grandfathers of politics wen don dey run political battles with some powerful cabals for PDP over the choice of governorship candidate since 1999. He understands the political gimmicks of the state than anybody. He go likely get e own candidate wen e go want to occupy the seat of Delta state. Chief Godswill Obielum na one of the strong aspirants for Delta state. Him na distinguish security Tzar, wen don attain most respected statesmanship status for the political circle both from the grassroots and for the national space. With he overwhelming credentials, he dey resistible to beat cum 2015. Hon Sam Obi na anoda revered man of God. He don occupy the speakership of Delta State House of Assembly and as an Acting governor of Delta state. Him na man with visionary mindset to rule the state. Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei na first class engineer with a suave, charming and sophisticated personality. Wit exudes admirable confidence and charisma and he leadership pedigree dey grow in leaps and bounds as 2015 dey approaches? Though he resign e speaker position. Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru na one of the intimidating opposition candidates wen almost sack the present governor out from office. He belong to Labour Party and e dey ready to take over power from the ruling party for the state wey e describe as cabals for corruption. Though he don contest many times but fail to win the seat of governorship due to undemocratic process and manipulation for the country. Him nor be push over contestant for the system. Hon Godsday Orubebe na the present Niger Delta Ministry Affairs Minister under the present administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. Him na one of those aspirants wey belong to the camp of Chief Edwin Clark for the state. Being say na apex minister for the country under the PDP platform also give am an edge over other aspirants but Delta state elections nor dey about popularity but ability to have digital networking thru finance to get your stipulated votes and how you empowered Deltans positively as regards to leadership position acquires till date.
