There are about 100,000 Filipinos working as domestic workers in the UAE, according to estimates provided by the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The United Arab Emirates has one of the largest OFW populations globally, with roughly 40% working in low-paying jobs. In support to the proposal multinational recruitment firms in Manila has offered funding counterpart to train and employ diplomats, lawyers and social workers from the ranks of the Bangsamoro professionals.
