Some of the fans who spoke with our correspondent were of the view that, so far the club is making waves in the Premier League, and are amongst the top four teams and that the present crisis might negatively affect the performances of the state team. There is also the fear that the club may fall under the hammer of the League Management Comp[any, LMC, as government officials are by the league rules, not allowed in the management of the clubs. Efforts to get the Media Officer of the Club, Ajide Olushola Olayioye proved abortive as he was said to be attending a seminar outside the state. An inside source from the club who pleaded anonymity confirmed the development and hinted that the new order by the Chief Of Staff has secured new buses for the club as well as payment of arrears of bonuses for players and officials.
