Made a quick trip to Fort Wayne to spread a little Christmas Cheer to Jen and Jess and girls, and to pick Lex up and bring her to town to have Christmas dinner at her Dads. Rinzen was entertaining as always, and although I have picked up Checkers the pony for her, we decided not to let her know about her, until they can make a trip to town, and meet her...so, after giving her a gift to unwrap, I told her that when she comes to town, I had another surprise for her. Without missing a beat, she says OH! Is it CHECKERS??...my mouth dropped and I thought maybe Jen or Jess had told her about Checkers...I just said Checkers? and she says Yeah! and points to a newly opened gift that was sitting on the couch that was a combination of games...including Checkers!! Talk about a surreal couple of minutes!
