The right lane of Interstate 65 south will be closed for the week of July 15, leaving two lanes of Interstate 65 south open. Crews will switch barriers from south to north over the weekend. Inspection work is scheduled to move to I-65 north the week of July 22. Two lanes of Interstate 65 north will be open to traffic with the right two lanes closed until the work is finished. Narrowing of I-65 South at Jefferson Street On the night of July 15, Interstate 65 south will narrow from three lanes to two lanes from the Jefferson Street ramp to Muhammad Ali Boulevard. The right lane will be closed through 2016 to allow for the widening of Interstate 65 south from the river to Muhammad Ali Boulevard. Closing of I-64 East ramp to I-65 South On the night of July 15, the ramp from Interstate 64 east to Interstate 65 south will close for the next three years to ease traffic congestion on Interstate 65 south.
