Male charged after allegedly coming close to running down Police - Oyster Bay Police attending to an unrelated incident in Oyster Bay earlier this morning, have charged a male with mid range PCA after almost being run down by a vehicle. Police allege they were walking in Flora St attending to an incident, when they stopped a utility motor vehicle for a Random Breath Test at about 1.50am on Sunday 12 October 2014. The 27 year old Sylvania male allegedly failed the roadside test and was taken to Sutherland Police Station. He allegedly returned a breath analysis of 0.147. His license was immediately suspended and is due to appear before Sutherland Local Court charged with mid range PCA.
