Man. Ok, so ... i dont actually look at my TWC bill when i get it in the mail. I know how much its going to be and i know when its due (i always pay it out of the first Friday every month). So today, idk why, i opened my bill and noticed it is literally TWICE what it should be. But why, I wondered? It shows this tremendous balance due. Did i miss a month? So i go to 53 and look at my payment history...No, theres December. and November. And October etc etc. Whats happened?! So i called TWC with, if not exactly a head *full* of steam, at least a decent amount of incredulity. Over the course of an extremely pleasant 7 minute conversation, Dawn and I discovered that the amount I thoughtlessly paid every month (LIKE CLOCKWORK FOR THE PAST 15 MONTHS) iiiiiis actually $10 less than i should be paying. Somehow when i set it up i got into my head that it was one amount, when in fact it was 9.98 more than that amount. And Ive just kind of coasted along, and TWC (bless their hearts) hasnt really cared since the majority of the bill is paid and i never got a full month behind, just...$10 every month. How embarrassing. Due to my excellent customership and regular (if not quite complete) payment history (and, i think, the true and abject horror and embarrassment in my voice), theyre waiving a whole bunch of what i owe and, well, guess I know what i need to know going forward. Yipes.
