Management Connections has an immediate need for a WINERY WAREHOUSE MANAGER. Salary range is $50-55k SUMMARY Manage all warehousing, shipping and receiving duties to support high-volume bottling operations as well as customer requirements, ensuring accuracy of both dry goods and case goods inventory. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. •Organizes and controls all inventory of packaging materials and finished goods at location. Ensures inventory accuracy by utilizing proper labeling and location system, cycle counts, daily reconciliation (or less frequent where appropriate) and physical inventory methods. •Loading and Unloading of Inbound and Outbound Freight •Verification of product accuracy on outbound BOL’s (product, SKU, quantity, case count per pallet, destination, etc.) •Ensures adherence to proper receiving protocol and SOP’s. Verifies counts on all incoming loads against packing slips and BOL’s where applicable. Completes receiving process in AMS. •Ensures that packaging materials are staged ahead of time in designated area for bottling runs. •After bottling runs, places excess packaging materials back in stock and ensures countback sheets are accurate prior to sending to Purchasing Department. •Directs and controls incoming trucks and drivers. •Schedule inbound and outbound transportation with common carriers. •Schedule glass releases in advance of bottling to meet bottling schedule, ensuring constant supply and zero downtime. •Plans and organizes warehouse space and inventory locations to allow for efficient finished goods storage in advance of trucking. Ensures that all packaging materials and finished goods are accurately maintained on site and are kept safe from environmental conditions (weather, water damage, etc.). •Ensures warehouse is clean. Utilizes visual organizational plan within warehouse with clearly defined locations for tools, equipment, goods and materials. •Ensures outside yard is clean and organized. Works with bottling leadership to properly dispose of trash and recycling materials. •Accurately completes BOL and shipping process in AMS to designated timelines. •Accurately completes all other shipping related documents and data including Shipping Log and bottling reconciliation functions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE •High school diploma •3-5 years related WINE INDUSTRY job experience in a fast paced environment with multiple and competing priorities. •Computer literate with experience using MS Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel) •MRP or ERP experience desired. AMS experience preferred. •Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and with multiple internal and external customers in an environment with constantly shifting priorities. •Must be highly detail oriented to ensure accuracy of inventory, data, transactions, entries, etc. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Good communication and exceptional customer service skills a must. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Demonstrate good math skills. CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid California Driver’s License required. Valid Forklift Certification with 3+ Years of Experience Interested? Know someone who might be?
