Many of you have asked: Where do you find time to do it all? The answer is: I dont. I have mounds of laundry, a sink full of dirty dishes, a cluttered house with kids toys, yarn, and craft supplies taking over most areas. I let my kids watch more TV than I like to admit. I frequently stay up until midnight to crochet and then re-do the project during daylight hours just to get good photos. I spend way too much time at my computer and on social media. Just because I post a crock pot recipe bi-weekly doesnt mean I cook every night (not even close!) And honestly I am just figuring this parenting thing out as I go. I am not a supermom but Im trying to do the best I can and trying to find a balance between it all. I love my family, I enjoy crafting and blogging, and Im just taking life one day at a time! I recently started reading a book written by Glennon Doyle Melton called Carry On, Warrior. She is a truth-teller and hope-spreader, telling her stories exactly as they are. This book is a true breath of fresh air and has made me realize we all could benefit from being more honest and open. Her stories encourage us to stop hiding, competing, and striving for the mirage of perfection. It struck a chord with me and I know many of you would absolutely relate to her words!
