Marriage more than just a piece of paper.. A few years ago, my wife Kim was in terrible pain from an abscess, and needed oral surgery. We had no dental insurance and no money on hand, plus it was the weekend. I got my anointing oil, gathered my children around, laid my hands on my wife and prayed over her, and in about 30 minutes the abscess completely went away and she was free from pain. Though every believer is a priest, every husband ought to be the High Priest of his own house. As her husband, God gave me the authority to lay hands on my wife when He gave me the wife, but the power to use my authority has to do with where I am before God. Scripture says, God is able to do exceedingly above all that we can ask or think, ACCORDING TO THE POWER WORKING IN US.While watching the wife pass in the movieBest man holiday, I looked over and told Kim, this will not be you, not on my watch
