Marti Love is building her endurance and slowly getting stronger. Though being by her side day in and day out it is hard to really see some of the progress. She still has the NG tube in, but thankfully has not used it in 2 days - drs do not want to take it until they feel more certain it is the right time. She just had an xray on her left leg, due to pain she continues to experience when she stands or sits in certain positions. Her little spirit is still so beautiful and sweet. My wonderful, helpful and protective sister, Brooke Campos has been here helping (this is very hard physical, mental and emotional work) alot for the past few days. Brooke and I were lifting Marti Love back into bed yesterday and I hurt my back and had to lay down immediately, Brooke continued to help Marti Love. Marti Love stopped Brooke and said fix Mama first :) That sums up Marti Love Terrells heart! My sweet mama is here for a few days now - so thankful! While my adorable, thoughtful, little man is here visiting, he can not get enough of Marti Love. He wants to touch her, be near her, hear her talk, asks her to open her eyes, continues to keep an eye on her to make sure she is okay. Each week he comes in he says Marti, you look so good. :) His heart for her blesses me! In rehab., you do not get a Thanksgiving vacation, so she will continue to be very busy all day and then so exhausted in the afternoons. We are still asking for no visitors at this time. We are grateful for so much love and the many prayers!!!! Can not imagine enduring this without His Love and your prayers.
