MashaALLAH!! Great Miracle!! The opening letters of the Qur’an and their potential relevance!! (ALLAH KNOWS BEST) Among the 114 suras (chapters) of the Qur’an, 29 suras immediately begin with enigmatic letters referred to as the opening letters: Sura # opening letters 1 2 alif, lam, mim 2 3 alif, lam, mim 3 7 alif, lam, mim, sad 4 10 alif, lam, ra 5 11 alif. Lam, ra 6 12 alif, lam, ra 7 13 alif, lam , mim, ra 8 14 alif, lam, ra 9 15 alif, lam, ra 10 19 kaf, ha, ya, ayn, sad 11 20 ta, ha 12 26 ta, sin, mim 13 27 ta, sin 14 28 ta, sin, mim 15 29 alif, lam, mim 16 30 alif, lam, mim 17 31 alif, lam, mim 18 32 alif, lam, mim 19 36 ya, sin 20 38 sad 21 40 haح, mim 22 41 haح, mim 23 42 1: haح mim; 2 ayn, sin, qaf 24 43 ha ح, mim 25 44 ha ح, mim 26 45 haح, mim 27 46 haح, mim 28 50 kaf 29 68 nun The 29 opening letters occur in 14 variations: (alif, lam, mim); (alif, lam, mim, sad); (alif, lam, Ra); (alif, lam, mim, ra); (kaf, ha, ya, eyn, sad); (ta, ha); (ta, sin, mim); (ta, sin); (ya, sin); (sad); (ha ح, mim); (ein, sin, qaf); (qaf); (nun) The 14 variations are composed of 14 different letters: Alif, lam, mim, sad, ra, kaf, ha*, ya, eyn, ta, sin, ha=*ح, qaf, nun *ha=ه *ha=ح The 14 letters repeated In Arabic: أ-ل-م-ص-ر-ك-ه-ى-ع-ط-س-ح-ق-ن Of the 14 different letters used in the enigmatic opening letters, only one single meaningful phrase in Arabic that includes all the letters without repetition could be compiled. The phrase which was generated by a computer reads like the following: نص حكيم له سر قاطع = ن ص - ح ك ي م - ل ه - س ر- ق ا ط ع A wise text (document) that has a decisive (conclusive) secret. Some scholars attempted to interpret the meanings or the secret behind these letters that appear at the beginning of suras and some continue to do so but none until recently was able to provide some form of a reasonable explanation or a possible reason for the presence of such letters in the beginning of some suras in the Qur’an (i. e.,The Encyclopedia of the Numeric Miracles in the Holy Qu’ran. By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel, current page). Other than reciting what was revealed to him, there is nothing recorded of the prophet saying anything about the opening letters. The first thing about these letters that evidently caught the attention of some scholars was the number of opening letters being 14 and the 14 number of variations in which they occurred. It appeared like there was some sort of a meaningful purpose behind them, something related to the letters and words within the Qur’an itself or in other words, some type of a divine arrangement of letters and words that correspond with a mathematical structure that heavily relies on the number 7. In the Qur’an itself, God Himself clearly indicates in more than one verse that He has encompassed everything in His knowledge and that He enumerated all things in number and certainly, the Qur’an is no exception to “everything”: “Indeed, they (the unbelievers) were not expecting an account and denied our Signs with (emphatic) denial and (denied) everything We have enumerated in a Book” Qur’an 78:27-29 If that is the case, then the Qur’an, a Book supposedly revealed by the Creator, must also comply with this rule and must also bare a signature from Him akin to that which bares Allahs signature in the creation of the heavens and Earth manifested through numbers and the laws of math and physics. For a more comprehensive introduction and some excellent examples, please see “A Qur’anic Miracle in Three Letters” by Abduldaem Al Kaheel : kaheel7/eng/index.php/numeric-miracle/416-a-quranic-miracle-in-3-letters. Make sure to download and read the PDF file at the bottom of the page. Although only six suras in the Qur’an start by theses three opening letters A. L. M,, it is clear the distribution of these letters across the verses and words of the Qur’an yields some remarkable results that correspond with the mathematical structuring of its verses on the numbers 7 and 19. The Examples of the Qur’an’s structuring on the number 7 are provided by Abduldaim Al Kaheel and this page mostly provides new examples never recorded before of the 7 and 19 based Qur’anic structuring. Finally, it is important to note that the structuring of the Qur’an and the intimate relation between its verses and words is not restricted to the three opening letters “A. L. M” but it encompasses all 14 variations. Examples were previously presented in this page! And ALLAH KNOWS BEST!
