They long for a world ruled by the Sharia. These people will not achieve this by conquest as Islam was spread in its early years. No, their strategy is more subtle--it is to create enclaves where Muslims can achieve majority status and then use democracy to destroy democracy. The Western democracies, steeped in religious tolerance and political correctness, cannot conceive that this is possible--we are too far away from the Iron-Age values that some Muslims passionately embrace.
