When the media reports that a person has died from a “self-inflicted gunshot wound” this does not necessarily mean that a suicide has occurred. Accidents happen. From what I know and saw of Coach Linville, he was a man with a lot to live for… I believe Jake knew that. This thought comforts me and I hope it comforts you. Rather than focus on the cause of death, I will choose to focus on the good life that was lived—and I humbly encourage you to do the same. Rather than expending our energy on needless speculations, let us devote ourselves to the noble task of helping those who are hurting.
