Meditation God Works in the Midnight Hours October 22, 2014 When we are challenged by trials, troubles and assaults on our faith, we often feel that we are on our own to fight the battles, and we begin to allow fear to overcome us. As a child of God, you can be sure that you are not alone, and you don’t have to be afraid. When evil attacks you, God is there to protect and deliver you from the hands of your enemies. When illness strikes, God reaches you with His healing hands. When you are feeling sad and lonely, God is there to comfort you and give you hope. God sees everything, and His promise is to be with you, to fight your battles and bring you the victory. When you present your petitions to God in your prayer time, He takes over. You can sleep in peace because God is up all night watching over you and protecting you. He is setting the plan for your victories. He will turn evil back on itself and watch the destruction. He will bring healing that will leave your doctors in awe of the miracles. He will move you from the darkness of despair to the light of His love. He will show you the way out of the valley and move the mountains that have been blocking you. God’s love and devotion can be summed up in this paraphrase of Psalm 121: “When we need help, we look to our God, for he created the heavens and the earth. He protects his people. Even if we start to stumble and fall, God will grab hold of us. He stays up all night to watch over us and protect us from all hurt and harm. He will always keep us safe no matter where we are or where we go. We can depend on him.” No matter what is going on, we can be sure God does His best work in our midnight hours. “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1) Peace and Abundant Blessings, Louise Manigault. Share Inspirations with your friends.
