Meet Phil! Phil was headhunted by Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas specifically for his Mandarin language skills. With the new BahaMar Mega Resort opening in Spring of 2015 we are expecting many Chinese and International guests and Phil was the perfect hire. Phil has been with us for 6 months, and loves The Bahamas! He has a very interesting background as a Harvard student who went on to become a financial tyrant on New York’s Wall Street! After deciding to trade in the hustle and bustle of city life, Phil decided to travel the world, and became a PADI Open Water Dive instructor in 2007. He then worked across the globe in Thailand, the Maldives, Palau and St Thomas before coming to Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas. He is a man of many talents, speaking fluent English, Mandarin, Chinese and a little French! His main talent, as noticed by his coworkers, is remembering long lists of guest’s names. His bucket list includes becoming a certified solo sky diver, to free-dive 30m (100ft), perform a 100m (300ft) Tri-mix dive and to dive Antarctica! Brrrrrr.
