Merced HeARTh Project going strong The Merced HeARTh Project, and the goal to create 1,000 sponsored clay hearts at $10 each for a total of $10,000, carries on this month. The next public glazing workshop will be held at UC Merced, at “The Lantern” on the first floor of the Kolligian Library, on Jan. 25 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This fun activity is open to everyone. Free parking is available at Library Lots 1 and 2. Bring your family, friends and coworkers. All the proceeds benefit Haven of Hope, the Women’s Recovery Program, the Room at the Inn, the Family Emergency Shelter, the Living Well Cafe and the Senior Nutrition Program.
