Message from Sheffield Hunt Saboteurs. Glad to see somebody is taking action Some of our sabs stopped a badger shooter continuing with his perverted activities last night in West Somerset. We were monitoring the valleys around the notorious Woodadvent Farm, who were recently found to be crucifying crows on the sides of their pheasant pens, when we heard a gun shoot, just a field away from us at 9.30pm. Sabs entered the field and flooded it with torch light from the roadside. Sabs saw two men and saw one of them either picking something up or searching for something on the ground. This unfortunately could have been the shooter looking for a badger body. Then, as the field became lit up, the men rushed into a tractor and drove around the field for about five minutes in the pitch black, presumably pretending to be doing something other than killing. The tractor then drove off and we checked the area throughout the night so the shooting couldn’t resume.
