Messaging with Jessica Rogers last night, I called her little lady without even thinking and was taken back as soon as I typed it. It was my dads favorite name for me when I was roughly her age. Its been so long since Ive posted a Friday morning song and I listened to quite a few CCR songs, memories of backyard bbqs, beer, laughter, dancing with dad and more laughter. None of the songs felt quite right so I found this one, one of my favorite memories of being out and dancing with dad. There was a great band that night and this song came on, I had dad laughing so much and the lead singer of the band stopped singing for a moment, laughing at me. So, happy Friday all!
