Miles Musings: You know Jonah prophesied doom to Ninevah, (Assyria), right? Did you know Jonah prophesied the blessing of the extension of borders to Israel, and it happened, (2 Kings 14). This was the time of the greatest prosperity for the Northern Kingdom, Israel. Did you know that at the same time Jonah prophesied blessing to Israel, Amos prophesied judgment to Israel, (see his whole book). Did you know both words were fulfilled, first: Jonahs, second: Amoss? The judgment that followed Amoss prophecy was so severe, the Northern Kingdom, (Israel) was taken from the land, and hasnt returned to this day. Some see prosperity for the USA; some see judgment. Both are right, at some point.
