Minecraft Rules for Gem City Admin’s: ColonelCorn225 (Host) and Vaynesolador It is all players’ responsibility to read the rules page and keep up with all updates of the rules page. A player cannot plead that he/she wasn’t aware of the rule(s). It is not an Admin’s job to explain the rules to you unless you need a better understanding of any of the rules. General Rules: 1. All players who break rules of any kind are subject to being banned by an admin. Any players who feel they have been unjustly banned message either ColonelCorn225 or if you were banned by ColonelCorn225 and feel it was unjust then message another admin with a description of what happened and have them speak to ColonelCorn225. 2. Absolutely no griefing 3. Players cannot alter the spawn map in any way unless you have permission from an admin. 4. The currency is Emeralds. 5. Admen’s are not allowed to teleport you at your request. (so don’t ask) 6. No killing other players. 7. No stealing from anyone or anything. 8. Citizens are allowed to raid/loot the following: caves, dungeons, strongholds, nether fortresses, witch huts, desert temples, abandoned mines, ravines, and jungle temples. 9. Players are not allowed to raid/loot the following: villages. 10. Players are not allowed to kill Iron golems or villager mobs. 11. Players are not allowed to trespass onto other player’s property unless they have permission from that player. Property Rules for Newville Villagers: 1. New players will receive a free property in Newville and be considered Villagers. 2. The property will be preset planned out and is 17 blocks wide and 17 blocks long. 3. You will get to choose out of the unclaimed plots of land in Newville. 4. On your property you will be able to build up to 100 blocks high from sea level. (sea level is Y:64) 5. You can build/mine 20 blocks below sea level. 6. Anything you build/destroy has to be in your property limits. 7. There will be farms for food and trees in Newville, you can only cut down trees and farm food in those designated areas. 8. There will also be a mine in Newtown; you can only mine in this designated area. 9. Players can trade between other players but cannot sell or buy things for emeralds. 10. Once a player collects enough emeralds to purchase a 20x20 plot of land they can move out of Newtown into their newly owned property (20x20 plot of land = 4000 Emeralds). 11. In Newville, citizen’s properties will be distinguished from villagers properties by being outlined with cobblestone walls, vice versa villagers properties will be distinguished from citizen’s properties by being outlined with wooden fences. 12. Nether fences signify community properties for use by all players. 13. Villagers are not allowed to own any passive mobs or trap hostile mobs. Property Rules for Citizen Players: 1. Players can only become a Citizen by purchasing a property outside of Newville. 2. Once a player purchases property outside of Newville, their property in Newville will become a market plot of land. They can use it as their own shop or for whatever purposes they see fit. 3. Players must fence off their land with fences, cobblestone walls, or building walls to signify where there land is. 4. Players must put a sign up somewhere on the outer fence stating that player’s gamer tag so other players know whose property it is. 5. Citizens can destroy trees and cut down farms from anywhere as long as it is not on another player’s property or on the Spawn map. 6. When cutting down trees you must fully remove of the tree and replant a sapling in place of the old tree. The sapling has to be of the same type of tree you cut down. 7. When farming things like cactus and sugarcane, always leave the bottom piece so that it can grow back for other players to harvest. 8. Citizens don’t have any height limits on their buildings but can only build/dig 20 blocks below sea level. 9. Citizens can start mines below Y: 44 and continue their mine out in any direction as long as you stay out of the spawn map. 10. Citizens can have at any time 2 of each species of passive mobs except for villagers, iron golems, horses, donkeys, and mules. You can breed for a third but must dispose of one of the three mobs. 11. Citizens can trap one type of each Hostile mob. 12. Citizens cannot have villager mobs on their property or iron golems. 13. Citizens can employ Villagers to work for them as long as it is on the citizen’s property. Means villagers cannot mine, farm or cut down trees beyond the citizen player’s property. 14. Citizen Player’s properties cannot have anything overhanging their property including trees. 15. Citizen players properties cannot have water or lava running off of their property unless the water/lave is conjoined with the same on the outside of the property. 16. Citizens can only own one of the following: horse, donkey, and mule. Meaning a Citizen cannot have a horse and a donkey and a mule. They can only have one out of the three. Rules for the Admin Market Shop: 1. Players are not allowed to sell or buy items from other players unless they have become a citizen. 2. Players can sell to or buy from the admin market shop no matter what title you have. 3. A player is only allowed to buy starred items/blocks from the Admin shop. 4. A player can sell anything in the game to the Admin shop. 5. A player can only sell/buy once every day/night cycle in the game. EX: If you buy or sell something during the day or night you cannot buy or sell again from the Admin market shop until the following daybreak. (this allows for the Admin to have some free time instead of being at the players will) Rules for ColonelCorn225’s Pyramid Labyrinth: 1. A player is only allowed into the pyramid when given permission by ColonelCorn225. 2. Once a player dies, leaves the pyramid or leaves the game they must regain permission by ColonelCorn225 to reenter the pyramid. 3. All players who enter the pyramid with permission by ColonelCorn225 will have their permissions turned off for building and destroying blocks and PvP. 4. Once in the pyramid, if you find the entrance again you may exit peacefully, but if you are lost then Admins are not allowed to rescue you out. You must either make it out on your own or die to make it out. 5. If you die in the pyramid it is not an admin’s job to get the items you dropped. They are lost either till you find it or they disappear on their own. 6. You enter the pyramid at your own risk. 7. There is a treasure room/crypt at the end of the labyrinth. 8. If a player finds the treasure room then they must also be able to exit the pyramid on their own. 9. Players are allowed to team up to accomplish the pyramid. 10. If a player retrieves the treasures successfully and escapes the pyramid then they are not allowed to do the labyrinth again.
