Minnie received a call about a stray cat showing up at a home in Bear Point. His leg was swelled and he was in need of vet care. Could not find the owners so the people took the cat to Jordan Vets to help Minnie out. First thing to be done was to check for FELV/FIV. The cat tested positive and had to be put down. His owners did not have him neutered, this is way males fight and get this virus. If his owner had been responsible pet owners and had him neutered, he would have been OK. He was a handsome and good natured male. If people are not going to take care of pets, dont get them!! Animals should not have to live this way, trying to fend for themselves. Spay and neuter is the only way ! These animals are not garbage to be disposed of when you dont want them anymore.
