Miss Em update.... August 20, 2013 Hey everyone!! Today has been pretty much the same as always...for breakfast I got cereal, bacon, and an english muffin and then coke and skittles for my medicine. Next I did school for an hour which I worked on homework. At 11:00 I was able to go to music therapy for half an hour before P.T. came and worked on leg strengthening while still in the bed. Cleaning under the Berlin cannulas is still the most pain filled part of the dressing change which I did at 3:00. Though afterwards, I got a surprise visit from daddy on his way to Detroit for a finance meeting. For dinner dad went to Subway and got me a sub and chips. I ate this outside with dad, mom, and two other nurses. We found a plug in so I got to stay out for a little more than thirty minutes. For a sweet treat mom and I ordered angel food cake with strawberries that just got here. It looks delish!!!󾥢 Then nightly homework time!! Love, Emily󾀽
