Mission of Cleveland County Grassroots Republicans Our mission is to assist Grassroots Republicans in their efforts to build a strong, vibrant Republican Party, to expand the tent through activism and education, and to restore the Republican Party to its Constitutional roots. We believe that a vital function of the grassroots is to hold elected officials accountable for their actions and to the oath they took to uphold the Constitution. This page is not intended to be a Republican Party "fluff site" that only posts feel-good articles or information attacking Democrats-- there are plenty of those to go around. However, we certainly will offer praise where it is due and share important information about positive legislation that is proposed by our elected officials. There is a real need for accountability within the Republican Party, and obviously within the Democratic Party, both of which have been responsible for flagrant violations of our rights for more than a decade. Therefore, we will criticize any infringement of individual rights and violations of the Constitution, regardless of party affiliation. Loyalty to the Constitution and the preservation of our God-given rights comes before party loyalty.
