Monday: Josiahs pain remains under control with his new dose of pain meds. His struggle remains eating enough, and it is showing on the scale with rapid weight loss. Due to this weight loss and not nearly meeting his nutritional requirements, they will be giving him a NG tube today (a small feeding tube that goes thru his nose to his stomach). His bowels have started responding to his lactulose and we will continue to monitor to make sure he doesnt get constipated again. Pray that he accepts the NG tube well and without trauma, that he gains weight and starts eating, and that his ANC starts to rise as it has dropped to zero and needs to be above 500 to get him home.
