Montana Memories III Montana pervades my memories Still the state that I call home Filled with rolling prairies Where deer and antelope rome. Pheasants feed on wheat fields Geese land on crystal lakes The eagles soar with freedom A breathtaking scene this makes The mountains are home to grizzlies And Bobcats just the same In fact they both play football In an annual celebration of the game Some years it is the Grizzlies Who dominate the game And other years it is the Bobcats Who claim the football fame. But there is yet another Montana campus Where the best football is played A place called Montana Tech Opposing teams cry for first aid There are the small town rodeos Where the cowgirls dawn blue jeans And cowboys sporting boots and hats Ride raging bulls that are mean You see the people of Montana Really shape the character of the state Hard working , Ruff riding cowboys Earning the food put on the plate So plan to visit this place That is aptly called Big Sky It will deliver the greatest memories That you will treasure til you die Jeff Dyk
