More photographs of Daves, Julians and Dans trip to RAF Cosford in Shropshire, to see the recently acquired Boulton Paul Defiant, constructed over eight years and approximately 50,000 man hours, by our friends at the Boulton Paul Association. The Boulton Paul Defiant replica will be on show to the public when we re-open for the 2015 season on Good Friday. It will be displayed alongside Spitfire and Hurricane replicas, built for the 1968 Battle of Britain Motion Film and on show in the Stuart-Buttle Memorial Hangar. Now where else can you see examples of the three classic Battle of Britain British Fighters in one line up, all in day fighting colours, anywhere else in the World? :-)
