More than 150 delegates will join forces to give their opinions and suggestions on the development of a Regional Delivery Plan for Employment and Skills, at a consultation briefing event at Parc y Scarlets, next month. The Department of Education and Skills (DfES) is developing a strategic approach to the delivery of employment and skills support for both individuals and employers. It will be an exciting opportunity for partners to get together and share their views on what activities and interventions are required to address the region’s skills challenges. The Regional Delivery Plan will provide a basis for future utilisations of European Structural Funds and other external funding sources and will be facilitated by the Regional Learning Partnership - South West and Central Wales. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 19, at 12pm. For those who have missed out on the opportunity to attend the event, further ways to get involved and share suggestions /ideas will be available shortly.
