Morning world . SW Blenheim is waking to a frigid ,teeth chattering ,bone shaking 10 degrees this morning heading for a high of 36 . The promise of a high in the 60s by the weekend sounds good . As expected the south east went into gridlock from Mississippi to Virginia with interstates shut down due to ice and snow . The entire interstate system in Atlanta was shutdown with multiple pileups and abandoned trucks and cars making snow removal impossible . A baby was born in a car when a couple could not make it to the hospital . In South Carolina 1700 accidents were reported including a few involving law enforcement vehicles . The city of Wilmington ,N.C. ,with only three snowplows ,shut down completely. This snowstorm / ice storm will long be remembered. Interesting story coming out of Russia concerning many of Putins cabinet and the bribe paid to them by contractors building the winter Olympic games buildings and arenas. Some of the most trusted members of Putins cabinet has been caught red handed and have been arrested. Of course Putin has denied the corruption. Sounds like the Obamanation Administration !. With long drawers and many layers of clothing accompanied by a heavy jacket ,ready to get this day underway in the 4 wheel drive creeping along due to the black ice .
