Mortgage Loan Processor (73172) Full-Time/Temp to hire Sedona Staffing is recruiting for a Mortgage Loan Processor for a local credit union. Main Function: Assist and counsel members in all mortgage related products and services. Explain programs to members, evaluate their needs, and recommend options. Assist in ensuring all mortgage loans are properly completed, documented, and disclosed to ensure compliance with credit union policy as well as state and federal laws and regulation. Prepare for and attend mortgage closings as required. Stay well versed in credit union products and services and promote them on a consistent basis. Develop and maintain good rapport with coworkers, attorneys, network of realtors, appraisers and other outside agencies to enhance CU lending and ensure the best service to members possible. Qualifications: Must be a highly motivated person with excellent communication and interviewing skills whether face-to-face or by phone. Experience gathering and relaying important and technical information in a way the consumer understands. Possesses a high level of knowledge of financial products. Must be very professional in speech, mannerisms, and appearance. Ability to analyze a situation quickly and accurately, determine a solution, and convey information clearly, confidently and tactfully. Must be highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented. Must be able to work and maintain composure & control in stressful situations. Requires working outside of the office as needed and networking at public events such as seminars, trade shows, and educational sessions. Testing Required: DE, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Typing, Office Math, and Customer Service Mindset Survey.
