Positioning: Step up to the bar so that your feet are approximately shoulder width apart, the balls of your feet are under the bar, and your toes are pointing forward or slightly outward. Pointing your feet slightly outward will give you a bit more balance MOVEMENT With legs semi flexed, lower bar toward top of feet by bending hips. After hips can no longer flex, bend waist as bar approaches top of feet. Lift bar by extending waist and hip until standing upright. Pull shoulders back slightly if rounded.
