MrMan Muweme > CRITIQUE MALAWI MALAWIANS BEGGARS OF THEIR OWN RIGHTS – BUT NO MORE BEYOND MAY 20, 2014 By John Davies Phiri Chief Critic It is March 2014, political transfer window is still open as historical tripartite elections on May 20 approach. About 7 million Malawians ready to decide the next government CEO whilst hopping to renew their expectations. Not because of the fear that I can lose my Malawian Green Card, fearlessly I say JB, late Bingu, Muluzi and original Ngwazi late, all share the same trait of poor leadership and score average as managers of capitalism . Seriously, that is being myopic and naive of the real issues affecting happiness of Malawians, as leaders. The manner Malawi is governed tells that nation- state leaders work as managers and only align themselves to capitalism and never understand what are the basic needs of Malawians, for them as long as they subscribe to devils principles of tormenting Malawians, it fine and cool. On the other hand, my fellow Malawians, who is responsible for our problems? It begins with me of course, and you if Malawi is to develop. Personally, we must wake up, STOP BEGGING and immediately start DEMANDING what belongs unto us, OUR RIGHTS. There is no way Malawians we can continue begging for development in our communities which is supposed to be facilitated using our own money. It is very sad and barbaric to see people demanding God given right to food, queuing for maize, water and so on as if Malawians are lazy. No! There is no way we can continue begging right to education yet we all contribute to education budget reasonably. We cannot allow continued myopic and crooked policies that are full of rhetoric. Half baked programs that lead to numerous white elephant projects in the country, are all a result of black market politics. Must stop now! There is no way, we Malawians can continue allowing individuals failing to account for MK90 billion, Mk6 billion, this cash-gating of our hard earned money intended for development just like that anymore, we must stop this insane. On a serious note again, we cannot allow the Civil Society Organisations in Malawi taking citizens for grated when access to operate in the country has been granted. And especially those claim to be political activists, very seasonal and reactive activists who fool Malawians for their personal gain. We, CRITIQUE MALAWI call for end of such crooked society organsations (CSOs). The CSOs in Malawi has never been the empowerment agent for the weak or the citizenry in the country. They are mare agents of foreign countries aimed at advancing domination of foreign policies of immorality and capitalism. I have a very minimal number of CSOs that are really advancing socioeconomic advocacy and empowerment of the vulnerable in Malawi. And such institutions they do not make noise as the like of CHRR, CEDEP, CAMA, WILSA, and other opportunists CSOs individuals who are always in the media. When did the CSOs in Malawi reacted positively? Is the blame worthy to the media too? Malawians have been BEGGING their rights, when they DEMAND, they are told there is no money. We cannot afford, CRITIQUE MALAWI as a family condoning the conduct of pushing the blame to each other, seeking sympathy from the electorates whom you have never thought of improving their welfare in anyway. Classically, MCP, need to explain why it lost confidence in Malawians in 1993 and all along have proved to be a reject. The evils of its time still are a yardstick. Of course, the party now claims to be a reformed club. We need not to get back to the iron age of politics. Zasintha- Zasintha, it was a slogan. Whether a thief or a crook, it was not an issue to disable one to become a fist citizen of this country! UDF, so much more that the party can narrate to the nation, issues of cash-gate. Of course, not master minders of the looting but those who improved the system of looting itself to advanced level. Not forgetting, Matafale issue, Lucius can tell us where the commission of inquiry went. Breast and other peoples private parts were a hot cake business. And here came another “railway steel” hahahaa…! Very professional Crook led DPP and was becoming a fascist, a dictator of democracy. Really, under DPP my country had faced good and baaaaaaaad era. Killings of July 20, Chasowa, Edson at Mzuzu Police, freedoms and rights were in the hands of DPP of just government of the people. Regionalism, tribalism, nepotism, and so forth. DPP, corruption and immorality escalated despite wanting to turn the nation into a police state. Here is PP, my foooooot! A party for the people stricken by cash-gate scandal. Of course, subscribers of cash-gate system. I enjoy a cow a family as I wait for a Graduate a family, a police a family, a cash gate a family…. A cash gate a village…. Is this the only crime by PP? All the above issues and tissues made people to be incapacitated to the extent that Malawians fail to demand their rights but beg. Political leaders and CSOs in the country are one; they all aim at enriching their pockets. Therefore, they twist things, especially systems of running this country to brainwash Malawians so that they thing are not responsible for demanding their right but beg for what is theirs. Time is running out for such myopic, naïve idealisms. Let us all stop pushing the blame, MCP, UDF, UDF, DPP and now PP, they are all Malawian, using the same ideas. Have same recycled politicians. Malawians, there is no way we can continue begging for our rights. WARNING TO ALL POLITICIANS AND CSOs 21 May 2014 beyond…… All Malawians will start DEMANDING their Rights, no more Begging…..
