My 12 yo Maggie went blind seemingly overnight a few months ago from cataracts from out of control blood sugar that we did not know she had. She also has cushings . Her bs is getting under control and physically doing well said of blindness. Also she is very hard of hearing. She is sweet as ever inspite of it all. I think it was harder on us than on her! Not a candidate for cataract removal due to her other health condition.
