My 14 week countdown to my next competition started today. I am now 100% back on my diet and training. My back is still in a bit of muscle pain from my deadlifts on Friday. This is all due to not training for 2 weeks, apart from the day of the comp. Todays sessions consisted of a lot of log pressing. My volume is now back in training which I am very happy about. In the video you see me doing log complexes. I have never done it before and I absolutely loved doing them. The log complex consisted of 5 RDLs, 5 Squat Cleans and 5 Push Presses. Rest and then go again for a total of 4 sets. Doing it this way gives you the chance to get your technique perfect and it is also a really good fat loss tool. Complexes ramps up the volume, gets you heart rate going and at the same time you get to do what you love doing. Log presses are also a great way to train your abs, for all of you ladies wanting to get a nice flat and defined stomach. Volume training along with a solid nutrition plan and consistency is key for any fat loss program. Happy log pressing day:) Pia!
