My Facebook is blowing up about fast food employees on strike. Apparently there were so many in Detroit that the cops ran out of handcuffs. Im also reading that they want $15 an hour. Im completely down with people in that industry making more money. Minimum wage doesnt cut it with cost of living. But an entry level position in fast food for $15 an hour? I would say thats a little steep. I would think $10-$12 an hour would be suitable for what they do....and thats pushing it. Ive worked and managed fast food. Its one of the easiest jobs in the field and doesnt require a high school education. So why should they get paid more than some people who have a degree? This are just *my thoughts. Feel free to chime in with your opinion! What do YOU all think about McDonalds employees making $15 an hour starting pay.
