My career just took a huge, positive turn. Out of a clear blue sky (aka, GOD), I received a call from a charter school who had found my resume on a job board. They were hiring for a Kindergarten Teacher. I ignored them for a week because I knew I wasnt yet certified. They persisted in calling me and I finally interviewed with them. Turns out, they liked me so much they hired me as a permanent sub (pending certification), working under a teacher mentor, but the class is all mine. I AM A KINDERGARTEN TEACHER!!!! My dream job! Thank you to all of my great references who talked to the Principal. I didnt even apply for this position! The Lord knew I was flitting about, unhappy in my work, and the job was suddenly handed to me in my lap! I have a nice little contract inked. Now I must get busy cracking those books and finishing out my degree, as well as research what the heck it is I am supposed to do as a Kindergaten Teacher!!
