My dear english-speaking friends, i know that you all support Ukraine in our hard times otherwise we would not see each other in our friends feed. During the pause between Crimean annexation and further possible actions official Putins Russia continues its hard work of lying about whats going on in Ukraine and trying make the European and World society believe that we face everyday life problems with radicals, nazists and lawless actions of our government. I write this post to let you know that it is all political game and its not true. Odessa is a russian-speaking city which is more used to french and italian language at the times of our founders than to ukrainian language. However we all understand it well and never experience any problems at any part of Ukraine as well as in Odessa speaking russian. My son is 8 years old, born in independent country, he speaks Ukrainian better than me and i am very proud of this because i teach him simple - as many languages you know that many times you are a Human. Its a language of our country and I assume it is a must for kids to know it and appreciate its beautiful cultural tradition and history. As much as we love russian language and its fantastic literature. I want you to know we live here absolutely normal life, nobody insults us or break in the houses. There is no radicalism in Odessa and in other regions too. There are some cases with individuals but Moscow propaganda makes their own picture as if it covers totally all the Ukraine. We are tired to get calls from our russian relatives offering to move to safe Russia from poor bloody Ukraine. We feel pain for our people in Crimea and it will be a day when we take that Putins knife out of our back. All dictators end badly. The only problem we face are those provocative people from Pridnestrove and Russia along with very little number of local population who really want to get back to USSR. They do behave aggressive and insulting doing their best to follow Putins instructions and commence a blooded conflict. On Sunday my family and my friends took part in the Odessa Piece March. There were about 15 thousand of very positive smiling people with kids holding flags of our Ukraine protesting against Putin. In the meantime my car decorated with Ukrainian flags and stickers was accidentally left on the way of the said separatists movement demanding Russia to take over Odessa. When we walked back to take it it was poured with black paint and symbols of my country destroyed. I live in Ukraine and who are these people doing this?
