My friends, and I say that with all sincerity for you each are my friends. I spend more time with you all then I do with anyone else. Addressing my Friends of the United States it saddens me to see the country in the state it is in. We have a chance to make a change in this country and it wont be done by electing the same people into office. We need people who are willing to work for the good of the people, not the good of big business so they can get a kickback. On November 4th 2014, it is Election Day, All 435 Seats in the House of Representatives and 33 of the 100 seats in the Senate wil be up for reelection. It is never to early to start learning about the candidates to make an informed opinion. I ask that you do not hold yourself to the mistake of believing everything that a campaign says. They have campaign managers who aree paid to do what they can to make sure their candidate wins. You have to understand that over half of these people are lawyers and are trained to win at what ever cost. So I ask you before you believe in something check it out. If you need a good web site to check things out Snopes is a good one from politics to scams on the internet. Learn the whole truth before you make a decision. Now I must admit, I have not voted for this administration at all. They in no way represent me. But I have very strong views and morals on who should be sitting in the position to put not only my children but your children as well in the front lines to fight and possibly lose their lives and as of yet I feel no candidate is worth my vote. Yes and even though I did not vote I feel I have the right to say the truth. I was a Marine and served this country faithful. These are the qualifications I look for: 1. Born in the United States, no questions should arise to this fact. 2. Must have served in the Untied States Armed Services, so before putting someone elses child at risk they would have the experience to make an informed decision and possibly think twice and look for another alternative. ( WE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN IRAQ WHEN WE WERE LOOKING FOR BIN LADEN) 3. If We the people are subject to a drug test to see if we are eligible for a job then our law makers should be also. I suggest that these tests be under the supervision of the United States Marine Corps. 4. I Believe that if caught breaking the law that they get the same judgement as we the people and after 3 such judgements get thrown out of office. (REMEMBER WHEN THEY WROTE ALL THE BAD CHECKS IN THE 90S AND ONLY GOT A SLAP ON THE WRIST AND PAID NO RETURN CHECK FEES AND SOME TOOK ALMOST 7 MONTHS TO PAY IT. AND ALSO DO NOT FORGET ABOUT OUR 3 STRIKE RULE TURN AROUND IS FAIR PLAY) 5. I Believe that they should pass a law, that if you want to have a company here, that you can not outsource for work. We need to put our people back to work not everyone else,s. If not move to another country and start paying taxes to ship here. 6. I Believe that Social Security is a moot point, it should never be added into the mix when talking cuts. This is a fund that was set up By the people, for the people and has nothing what so ever to do with the Government. We put the money in They can not take the money out for anything. (Personally I would like them to send me every bit I put into it so I can do something with it, Im sure I can handle it much better then they can . 7. I have a cure for Medicaid also. How about a home check for everyone who applies. Get up, stretch those legs, get some fresh air and go check unannounced to the neighborhood and home of the person applying. Get a feel, youll know if they need them or not. But I am also in favor o the drug testing also. Either way get the people who do not need them off of the state rolls. 8. My candidate would have a heart when it comes to listening to others stories, but he/she would start this country out new. He would start sending illegal residents back to their country and encourage them to come through the United states the right way through Ellis Island, It was good enough for our fore fathers should it be good enough for the new comers to america. Then they can apply for benefits. It is not right that an Illegal Alien can get more benefits then an American Citizen. 9. No one in the Senate or Congress will go on vacation while they have a major bill on the table. Since January they have taken 2 vacations while the unemployment extention Act was on the table. Shameful to have all those that started out at 1.7 million raise to 2.0 millian in another month it will be 3.0 million. When will it end? I watch elections very closely after all these are men and women who will be decision makers in the years to come. I may not have voted in the past, however there is nothing that will keep me from the voting booths this year not in a year when so much is on the line and every vote counts. I want my country back and I refuse to be a sheep. I implore you all to do the same as this will be a defining year for America. REMEMBER TO VOTE RESPONSIBLY
