My husband always talks about my California stops (slowing down but not stopping for a stop sign). I listened to a minister, this morning, talk about a policeman, frustrated, at stopping a man for not making a complete stop. The man insisted he stopped. The policeman said, "No, you slowed down and continued through the stop". This scenario played over and over again for several days. Finally, the police officer at his wits end stops the motorist pulls his head through the window and begins hitting him with his club. The police officer asked, "Would you like me to stop or slow down?" Oooooh, point taken:)
