My meagre tribute to a great, great man and my favourite actor - Mr. Robin Williams: O Captain, my Captain, We can follow you no more, Now youve flown so very high, thinking only happy thoughts, So we will stand upon our desks and we will shout out all the more, O Captain, my Captain, And we will smile and watch you soar... Soar like a shooting star, streaking through the blackness turning night into day, Well make a wish and think of you, And how you brightened up the grey, You always will be with us, in our hearts and in our minds, Though youve rolled the dice and found a way to leave this world behind. You taught us so much : Carpe Diem - seize the day, That all of life is a coming home, well we hope youve found your way, You showed us that even when youre squeaky clean, you can still fall in the mud, You showed us that the human spirt is more powerful than any drug, You woke us up to the good stuff that we werent paying attention to, And you showed us that we aint never, ever, never had a friend like you. So thank you for every kindness, for the laughs and tears combined, And thank you for the love, for those are the ties that bind. We will remember everything. So lets stick our faces in cake and shout Helloooo! At the first person we see, And lets rock it from the delta, right down to the DMZ, Lets fight fire with marshmallows on your ridiculous behalf, And lets get a plot right next to you, so we never miss a laugh, Lets do all this, friends, but lets not ever say goodbye, But lets raise our heads, stand on our desks and look to the Summer sky. Second star to the right and straight on till morning, Off you go now Captain, your Neverland is calling. And although we wont say goodbye, Instead, what we will do, Is sadly twist our ears, And say nanu nanu.
