My son called me early this morning and said “happy anniversary”. I said, “anniversary of what?” He said “the anniversary of not dying 3 years ago when you had a stroke. Today is the day.” I had forgotten. My survival was completely by the grace of God. He kept me alive for his own purpose. My life is not my own. I belong to him. My time belongs to him. So what was it that he wanted me to do? His word. The specifics are still unfolding. The reason I wrote this is because I want to thank all of you again for your prayers and all that you did. It was an exciting time of deliverance. Still is. When I worked in the company community garden I noticed something special. The plants required work from more than just humans. Bacteria that that enriched the soil, good bugs that ate bad bugs, pollinators such as bees and butterflies and even some plants that are good companions to other plants and help them grow somehow, are all some of the vital contributors to the growing process. So why doesn’t the plant simply grow by itself? Because God likes to see everything working together. And funny thing about that. Every participant IN the gardening process also benefits FROM the gardening process. They all receive their sustenance from the gardening process. And likewise, when we all pull together as a spiritual family and pray for one another and help one another, we bless one another and will also bless ourselves with spiritual nourishment. We help the word God and the Spirit of God move and grow on this planet and nation (and God knows it needs to move and grow!). Anyway, thank you for your prayers and for helping me when I could not help myself. God bless you, Sam
